A never corroded or collision damaged example of 25 left drives built, this beautiful automobile was originally delivered to Beverly Hills, California October 16, 1963 and was resold thereafter to the famed New York Metropolitan Opera tenor, Sergio Franchi. It next became the cherished possession of a well reputed New York restaurateur who commissioned our firm to fabricate a show quality Saddle Tan Connolly hide interior with matching Tan Everflex top. Several years ago, in well preserved and cared for order, it became part of the collection of the Academy Award winning film actor and highly regarded automobile enthusiast, Nicolas Cage.
We were fortunate enough to acquire the automobile in November, 2008 with only 64,747 miles traveled in 45 years. One of our clients and friends had long admired the Special Garnet exterior of LSCX257, the famed ex- Kurt Juergens Silver Cloud III H.J. Mulliner DHC and asked to be advised if a suitable candidate for refinishing to that shade ever became available. As this example had only been refinished once, the situation was ideal for all parties concerned and the automobile was delivered in 2009 to its most recent (fifth) owner. A fresh reconditioning of the suspension and thorough mechanical review as per our usual procedure was carried out and efficient dashboard vented air conditioning was installed as part of the package.
Correct original handbooks, complete small and large tools and copies of the factory history accompany the automobile, a worthy addition to anyone's stable.
